Mixed Bean Salad

A variety of beans combined and made into a salad

Type: Dal Serving: 4 Cooking Time: 15 minutes after the beans are cooked

Ingredients

  • Rajmah (Red Kidney beans), boiled 1/3 cup
  • Kabuli Channa (Chick peas), boiled 1/3 cup
  • Soya Beans, boiled 1/3 cup
  • Moong daal sabut (Green Gram, whole), cooked 1/3 cup
  • Simla Mirch (Capsicum) , chopped fine 1 cup
  • Dressing:
  • Olive oil 2 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Salt 2 tsp or to taste
  • Pissi kali mirch (powdered black pepper) tsp
  • Pudina (Mint), chopped fine cup
  • Tomato, de-seeded and shredded into strips for garnish
 

Preparation

  • Mix the beans and capsicums and keep chilled till ready to serve.
  • Mix dressing ingredients together.

  • Just before serving, mix the bean mixture and dressing and arrange over the serving dish.

  • Garnish with the tomato and serve.
