Soya Dumplings in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

  • For the dumplings:
  • Soya granules 2 cup ]
  • Water to soak ] soak together for hr at least, then wash and drain
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp ]
  • Bread slices, crumbled fine 4
  • Salt 1 tbsp or to taste
  • Garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Powdered black pepper (Pissi kali mirch) tsp
  • Oil to deep-fry 2-3 cups
  • Tomatos puree 1 cup
  • Thymol Seeds (Ajwain) 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 tbsp
  • Salt 1 tsp or to taste
  • Sugar 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder tsp
  • Coriander leaves (Hara Dhania ) for garnish
 

Preparation

  • Mix the soya, bread, salt, and garlic paste and kali mirch. Blend well together and form into round balls.
  • Heat the oil and deep fry to a golden.

  • Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok or pan; add the ajwain and then the puree, salt, sugar and chilli powder.

  • Saute till well blended, add the fried dumplings and stir to mix well.

  • Serve hot garnished with the dhania.
