Kulcha rolls with Aloo Achari

A nice snack for packed food

  • Kulchas 4
  • Potatoes, boiled, peeled and cubed 250 g
  • Sarson ka tel (Mustard oil) 2 tbsp
  • Methi dana (fenugreek seeds) tsp
  • Saunf (Fennel seeds) 2 t sp
  • Kalonji (Nigella seeds) 1 tsp
  • Amchoor (dried mango powder) 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp or to taste
  • Chilli powder tsp or to taste
  • Haldi (Turmeric) tsp
  • Aluminum foil and tooth-pick to pack the kulchas


  • Heat oil and add the methi, saunf and kalonji
  • Add the potatoes and mix well.

  • Add the amchoor, salt, chilli powder and haldi and saute till the potatoes look a little fried.

  • Place some mixture in the middle of a kulcha, fold over and secure with a tooth-pick.

  • Wrap in aluminum foil and pack.
