A Mexican bread

Ingredients

  • Corn meal (makki ka atta) 1 cup (120 g)
  • Refined flour (maida) 1 cup (120 g)
  • Oil 1 tbsp (15 ml)
  • Salt
 

Preparation

  • Sift the flours together. Add the oil and salt and knead into pliable but firm dough.
  • Roll into thin rounds (rotis) and cook over the tawa or griddle on both sides.

  • These can be stored refrigerated for a week or so.
