Chicken with Pineapple

Marinated fillets of chicken with pineapple

Type: Non-vegetarian Serving: 4 Cooking Time: 30 minutes after marinating

Ingredients

  • Boneless Chicken Breasts 4 large (500 g)
  • Eggs 2
  • Ginger paste 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Onions, finely chopped cup (100 g)
  • Hara Dhania, chopped 2 tbsp
  • Green chillies, finely chopped 1 tbsp or to taste
  • Salt 1 tsp or to taste
  • Kali Mirch (Black pepper) powdered tsp
  • Dhania powder 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala tsp
  • Oil cup (60 g)
  • Pineapple rings 4-6
  • Hara Dhania for garnish
 

Preparation

  • Wipe the chicken pieces and beat with a sharp knife to flatten.
  • Beat the eggs slightly, add ginger, garlic, onions, dhania, chillies, salt, kali mirch, dhania powder and garam masala.

  • Add this mixture into the chicken pieces and marinate for 2 hours or so.

  • Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the chicken pieces.

  • Brown on both sides over high heat.

  • Lower the heat and cook covered, till tender.

  • Remove the chicken from the pan and brown the pineapple rings in it over high heat.

  • Arrange the chicken and pineapple in a serving dish, and serve hot, garnished with the drippings and hara dhania.
