Chilli Soya

Type: Chinese Serving: 4-6

Ingredients

  • Soya nuggets 200 gm, soaked in water for 15 minutes and drained
  • Salt, to taste or 2 tsp
  • Ginger paste 1 tsp
  • Garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Oil cup (60 ml)
  • Onions, chopped coarsely 2 cups
  • Green chillies, thickly cut 2 tbsp or to taste
  • Soya sauce 1 tbsp (adjust according to taste)
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
  • Some greens for garnish
 

Preparation

  • Squeeze the nuggets. Mix together the nuggets, 1 tsp salt, garlic, ginger.
  • Heat the oil, and saute the soya over high heat till it looks 'fried'.

  • Remove the pieces out of the oil, and in the same oil stir fry the onions over high heat till they look wet.

  • Add the green chillies and stir a few times, add the remaindered salt, soya sauce, vinegar, and the soya.

  • Mix well, and serve garnished with some greens.
