Atta (Wholewheat) Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • Oven temp: 350 F- 180 C
  • Atta (Whole wheat) 2 cups (400 g)
  • Sugar 1 cups (400 g)
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Baking soda (meetha soda) 1 tsp
  • Cocoa 2/3 cup
  • Oil cup (125 g)
  • Water cup
  • Eggs 4
  • Vanilla essence tsp
  • 2 baking tins 8-9 round
 

Preparation

  • Grease the tins and dust with atta.
  • Place the atta, sugar, soda, baking powder, oil and water in a bowl and beat smooth.

  • Add the eggs and vanilla essence and beat till smooth again.

  • Divide the mixture into the tins, and bake in the pre-heated oven for 35-40 mins.
