You could be:
filling too much in one tin (Should not be filled more than half)
cake is not baked enough.
sometimes oven temperatures differ, so you have to adjust.

I have guests coming my home for the first time. They would have b'fast, lunch ,eve tea, dinner with us. I wanna serve them with totally unique receipies which are not made in day to day eating. Stricly vegggie menu would be used.

Pls help....regards Vivek

Garam Masala I

A basic combination of spices which has ingredients used in almost all recipes

Recipe By : Niru Gupta

Serving : 250 g

Ingredients
150 g jeera (cumin seeds)
50 g badi elaichi (black cardamoms), seeds only, (weighed before peeling)
25 g dal chini (cinnamon)
25 g laung (cloves)
25 g sabut kali mirch (pepper corns)
4 tej patta (bay leaves)

Preparation
Sun all the ingredients or place them over the oven (so that the gentle heat works on them, while you have something baking), to rid them of any moisture and then grind to a powder, in a food processor or mortar and pestle. Store in an airtight jar.

Grinding spices fresh each time is cumbersome, but makes the food delicious

Dear Niruji,

I love your whole wheat cake recipe. And make it very frequently with a small variation, I use half atta and half oatmeal and it tastes amazing. Do you have a recipe for whole wheat chocolate cake??

Regards
Nandita

Thanks Nandita. Just follow the recipe for the Rich Chocolate cake on site and substitute whole wheat for maida.
