Ingredients

Eggs 2

Salt ½ tsp

Baking soda ½ tsp
-
Baking powder ½ tsp
-
Yoghurt (Dahi) ½ cup (100 g)

Water ½ cup (120 g)
-
Butter, melted ¼ cup (60 g)

A waffle iron

Preparation

Mix the flour, salt, soda and baking powder.
Add the eggs, yoghurt, a little at a time to make a smooth paste. Now add water and mix into a smooth batter. Leave to rest in a cool place for 20-30 minutes.
Pour batter to cover the lower part of the pre-heated waffle iron, close shut and let it cook till brown (the batter stops sizzling).
Remove and serve hot accompanied with honey, or maple syrup or butter.
