Soya Dumplings in Tomato Sauce

Ingredients

For the dumplings:

Soya granules 2 cup ]

Water to soak ] soak together for ½ hr at least, then wash and drain

Vinegar 2 tbsp ]

Bread slices, crumbled fine 4

Salt 1 tbsp or to taste

Garlic paste 2 tsp

Powdered black pepper (Pissi kali mirch) ½ tsp

Oil to deep-fry 2-3 cups

Tomatos puree 1 cup
-
Thymol Seeds (Ajwain) 1 tsp

Oil 1 tbsp
-
Salt 1 tsp or to taste

Sugar 1 tsp
-
Chilli powder ½ tsp

Coriander leaves (Hara Dhania ) for garnish

Preparation

Mix the soya, bread, salt, and garlic paste and kali mirch. Blend well together and form into round balls.
Heat the oil and deep fry to a golden.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok or pan; add the ajwain and then the puree, salt, sugar and chilli powder.
Saute till well blended, add the fried dumplings and stir to mix well.
Serve hot garnished with the dhania.
