Chocolate Sauce
|
Made from semi sweet chcolate to use with ice cream and desserts |

Ingredients

Semi-sweet Chocolate 250 g

Milk ½ cup (120 g)

Vanilla essence 1 tsp

A larger pan with water and a smaller one to melt the chocolate in

Preparation

Heat the water in the larger pan, but do not let it boil over.
Break the chocolate into pieces and place in the smaller container along with the milk and vanilla essence.
Place this into the hot (but not boiling water) and let it begin to melt.
When it starts to melt from the bottom, start to mix it. Keep stirring till it melts.
Do not over heat it otherwise it will curdle.
Take it off the heat as soon as it is melted and well blended.
