Besan ka Laddoo (Microwave)

Ingredients

Besan 220 g (2 cups)

Ghee 150 g (10 tbsp.)

Elaichi powder ½ tsp
-
Powdered sugar or boora 150 g
-
Vark and almonds for garnishing

Preparation

1. Mix the besan and ghee well together and place in a broad dish (the mixture should not be higher than half an inch).
2. Cook covered in the microwave at HI for 10-12 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. The mixture should become a little darker and paste like.
3. Remove from microwave, mix in the elaichi and leave to cool.
4. When completely cooled mix the sugar in, rub well to mix thoroughly, shape into rounds of desired size, garnish with the vark and almonds and serve.
