Besan ka Laddoo (Microwave)

A Sweet made from Chick pea flour

Type: Desserts Serving: 10-12 Cooking Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

  • Besan 220 g (2 cups)
  • Ghee 150 g (10 tbsp.)
  • Elaichi powder ½  tsp
  • Powdered sugar or boora 150 g
  • Vark and almonds for garnishing
 

Preparation

  • 1. Mix the besan and ghee well together and place in a broad dish (the mixture should not be higher than half an inch).
  • 2. Cook covered in the microwave at HI for 10-12 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. The mixture should become a little darker and paste like.

  • 3. Remove from microwave, mix in the elaichi and leave to cool.

  • 4. When completely cooled mix the sugar in, rub well to mix thoroughly, shape into rounds of desired size, garnish with the vark and almonds and serve.
