Ingredients
|

Carrots, grated ½ kg
-
Milk ½ kg
-
Sugar 60 g ( ¼ cup)
-
Elaichi, powdered 1 tsp
-
Almonds, blanched and shredded 15
-
Kishmish 15
-
Ghee 60 g (1/4 cup)

Vark for garnish

Preparation

Place the carrots and milk in a microwave dish (should be less than half full) and cook uncovered for 35 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes or till the milk has been absorbed.
Mix in the sugar and cook on high, uncovered for 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes.
Mix in half the almonds, kishmish and ghee and cook for 2 minutes, stirring once.
Serve hot, garnished with the vark and rest of the almonds.
