Ingredients

oven temp: 300 F-150C

Skimmed Milk 2 ½ cups (500 ml)*

Sugar ½ cup (125 g)

Vanilla essence 1 tsp
-
Eggs (whites only) 4
-
Bread slices, crusts removed 2
-
Sugar free Jam 2 tbsp
-
A 7”-8” round oven proof serving dish
-
*If using skimmed milk powder, mix in ½ cup powder and 2 cups water

Preparation

Grate the bread slices or place in a food processor and blend.
Place sugar in a bowl, add the vanilla, egg whites and bread crumbs. Beat well till a little fluffy.
Continue to beat and add the milk in a stream while beating.
Transfer into baking dish and bake in a pre-heated oven for 30-40 minutes.
Remove from oven dot with the jam and serve hot or cool and chill.
