Green Coconut Chutney

A chutney of fresh coconut and coriander leaves |

Ingredients

Fresh coconut, grated 2 ½ cups (1 whole) Hara Dhania (Coriander leaves), chopped 2 ½ cups (125 g)

Hari Mirch (green chilli), roughly chopped 1/4 cup (25 g), or to taste

Garlic, chopped 1 tbsp

Ginger, chopped 1 tbsp

Onion, roughly chopped 1 cup ( 125 g)

Salt 4 tsp or to taste

Sugar 1 tbsp or to taste

Lemon juice 2 tbsp

Preparation

Grind all the ingredients together, to a fine paste, either on a stone or in a food processor, with the help of as little water, as possible. The seasoning can be adjusted according to taste.
