Bathue ka Raita

Raita made with `bathua’ leaves, which are seasonal winter greens

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups (500 g) dahi  (yogurt )
  • 1 ½ cups (500 g) bathua, blanched and ground
  • 2 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp kali mirch (powdered black pepper)
  • 2 tsp roasted and powdered jeera (cumin seeds)
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
 

Preparation

  • Mix the bathua, dahi, salt, kali mirch, and 1tsp of the jeera and ½ tsp of the chilli powder.
  • Arrange the mixture into a serving bowl and garnish with the rest of the jeera and the chilli powder. Chill and serve.
