Khajur Ke Gud Ke kheer.

Ingredients

4lit milk
-
1cup Basmati Rice (large)

1/2 cup Sugar
-
3/4 Date Jaggery (khajur ka Gud)

5tbsp almonds
-
handful of raisins.

Preparation
|

Wash, Drain and soak rice in water.
Boil the milk in a large saucepan, and then lower the heat and simmer for about 1/2 hour, stirring to avoid scorching.
Add the washed rice and cook till the rice is cooked.
Add the sugar and cook till the consistency you want.
Take it off the heat and cool for 15-20 min.
Add Khajur ka Gud (date Jaggery).
Stir till dissolved. Serve it hot or cold.
