Ingredients

Oven temp: 350 F- 180 C

Atta (Whole wheat) 2 cups (400 g)

Gur ki shakkar (or Brown Sugar) 2 cups (450 g)

Baking powder 2 ½ tsp
-
Dalchini (Cinnamon) powder ½ tsp
-
Jaiphal (Nutmeg) powder ½ tsp
-
Oil ½ cup (125 g)
-
Water ½ cup
-
Eggs 4
-
Vanilla essence ½ tsp
-
walnuts to garnish (optional)

2 baking tins 8”-9” round

Preparation

Grease the tins and dust with atta.
Place the atta, shakkar, soda, baking powder, dalchini, jaiphal, oil and water in a bowl and beat smooth.
Add the eggs and vanilla essence and beat till smooth again.
Divide the mixture into the tins, and bake in the pre-heated oven for 35-40 mins.
