Gobhi Gajar ki Sabzi (fat free)

Ingredients

Gobhi (Cauliflower), cut into small floerets 500 g (1 big flower)

Carrots, sliced into 2” slices, width wise 250 g

Zeera (Cumin seeds) 1 tsp

Heeng (Asafoetida) 1/8 tsp

Ginger, sliced thin 1 tbsp

Hari Mirch (Green Chilli), slit 2-3 or to taste

Dhania (Coriander ) powder 1 tbsp
-
Garam masala (p ) ½ tsp
-
Salt 2 tsp
-
Chilli powder ½ tsp
-
Haldi (Turmeric) ½ tsp

Hara Dhania (Coriander leaves), chopped fine 2 tbsp

Preparation

Dry roast the zeera in a kadahi and add half a cup of water. When it comes to a boil, add the heeng and ginger.
When the mixture comes to a boil, add the hari mirch, dhania powder, salt, chilli powder and haldi.
Mix well and add the gobhi and carrots. Stir-fry, lower the heat and let cooked, covered till cooked through. Stir a few times and sprinkle water in case it scorches.
Serve hot garnished with the hara dhania.
